Management system

Since the establishment in 2003 of KMM the Board has made a decision to invest time and capital in order to introduce a management system according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements and to ensure a production that meets all requirements of clients as well as to secure environmental protection and safety at the place of work.
In 2004 Bureau Veritas Latvia KMM were awarded three certificates that approve that the management system of KMM is developed and maintained in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.

The scope of supply of the management system is Production of non-ferrous metal alloys wares and semi products, among them machined parts.
After the awarding of the certificates employees keep on working on constant improvement of the management system in order to fulfil the aims of the company and to implement the policy of quality, environmental protection, energy management and work safety.

  • At the beginning of 2005 KMM recertified the management system accordingly to the new version of ISO 14001:2004.
  • In June of 2009 KMM recertified the management system accordingly to the new version of OHSAS 18001:2007.
  • In April of 2010 KMM recertified the management system accordingly to the new version of ISO 9001:2008.
  • In November of 2017 KMM certified the management system accordingly to ISO 50001:2012.
  • In April of 2018 KMM recertified the management system accordingly to the new version of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
  • In April of 2019 KMM recertified the management system according to the standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 and prolonged validity of all certificates till the 31st of May, 2022.
  • In April of 2020 KMM recertified the management system according to the standards ISO 50001:2018 and prolonged validity of all certificates till the 27st of November, 2023.
  • In March of 2021, the management system of KMM was certified according to the requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 standard, replacing OHSAS 18001.
  • In April of 2022, the management system of KMM was recertified according to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • In April of 2023, the management system of KMM was recertified according to the requirements of the ISO 50001:2018 standard.
